 This creature is a mini-Basilisk for an attack-oriented deck. When Urborg Panther attacks, your opponent could block it with a small creature so that both are destroyed, in which case you have lost nothing and gained nothing. But if your opponent blocks with a large creature, you can play Urborg Panther's ability. Destroying something large with a three-mana, 2/2 creature is usually a gain.
